OVERVIEW:
The Challenge Network is running a youth programme this summer for 3200 young people from across London, West Midlands and Lancashire. We are currently looking for Project Volunteers to work with groups of sixteen-year-olds on our autumn programme in September and October.
ROLE:
Project Volunteers work with The Challenge over four Saturdays or four Sundays during September and early October, and work with a group of twelve young people in their local community on a voluntary project they have designed. The Project Volunteers are responsible for inspiring and galvanising the group and for supporting them throughout the project. We are looking for people who are motivating and good at encouraging young people. A job description is attached. There is further details about our work at www.the-challenge.org.
