Backstop was founded in 2001 to provide people and support services specifically to the social care and criminal justice sectors. The company was set up by a qualified social worker determined to incorporate social work values into the company ethos and practice. Our guiding principle is to provide the best possible practitioners and support services to any organisation that we work with. We know that by doing this we can positively make a difference to the life of a person going through the criminal justice or social services system.
This principle is instilled in everyone working at Backstop, and informs everything that we do.
