Different countries have different arrangements with the UK government as to working visas so a good first stop would be to go to the UK government’s website http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk

If you are a citizen of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, and other Commonwealth countries you can come over on a Working Holiday Visa. You can get more info from the same website.

You will need to provide us with the following paperwork:

Copies of your qualification and GSCCverification or GSCC registration as applicable if you are a qualified social worker. Please note that from April 1st 2005 you will only be ableto practice as a Social Worker in the UK with a GSCC registrationcertificate.
You will need to have a recent (within last 3months) police check from your home country or from the British Criminal Records Bureau.
