Our sex offender treatment program: Assessment and intervention for young men who sexually abuse

Build a 'difficult to find' specialist skill into your team

At Backstop we understand that the treatment of sex offenders is something which requires an educated and sensitive approach with well rounded practical application.  Our sex offender treatment programmes incorporate a theoretical underpinning as well as sex offender intervention training designed by expert professionals to ensure you have the practical skills to deliver.

Our programme is designed specifically to enhance the professional treatment of young men who have been sex offenders. Our sex offender treatment programme includes sexual abuse intervention course training and is 4 - 5 days (split up into two modules, each around a month apart, with an optional, but recommended review day).

The course is suitable for YOT Practitioners, Probation Practitioners and Practitioners in related areas and our sex offender training guarantees that you will be trained by experts. The treatment of sex offenders varies hugely within each of these disciplines as such our programs are bespoke to ensure you get the sex offender treatment training which is right for you. The costs, therefore, are negotiable and depend on your team and your requirements.

For further information on any of our YOT training courses or for any enquiries call 020 8394 7629, or email us and we will contact you to discuss your requirements.
