Backstop is currently seeking an ePEP (Electronic Personal Education Plan) Coordinator to be based in Brent.

The ideal candidate will ideally have very strong Excel skills (essential) and be educated to at least Level 3. Knowledge of SIMS (Student Information Management System) would be an advantage, as will recent experience of managing performance and operational data.
Responsibilities of this post
The successful candidate will effectively track and monitor the completion of ePEPs and provide monthly reports to the Head of the Virtual School and the Virtual School team on the status of these.
Develop and implement effective quality assurance systems for the ePEP process and ensure effective management of the overall process, including contributing to the development and use of the ePEP system.
Monitor and account of the allocation of Pupil Premium Plus (PPP) via the ePEPs.
Monitoring the impact of PPP against previous and current ePEP targets and producing regular reports from the Welfare Call Extranet site.
The ideal candidate will be educated to at least Level 3, and have evidence of continuous training and personal development, excellent knowledge of standard IT software (e.g., WORD, Excel, PowerPoint), the School Information Management System (SIMs), and database systems, understanding of the role of ICT, information and data in strengthening organisational performance, understanding of the issues related to looked after children and related corporate parenting responsibilities. Recent experience of managing performance and operational data is essential as are very strong Excel skills.
The post holder will be subject to an enhanced disclosure and barring check due to the post being in direct contact with children and vulnerable adults.
