Social worker, Vulnerable Adults case management (part time) – SE London
£28 - £32 per hour, Length of Contract: 3 months.
Backstop is currently seeking an experienced and committed specialist worker to work part time within a community services team based in Lewisham.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with the HCPC. They will have experience of assessing the needs of vulnerable adults and their carers, and to support them to arrange services to meet the needs and outcomes identified.
The pay rate for this locum specialist social worker job is up to £28 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Responsibilities of the case management social worker:
promotion of prevention, independence and self directed support, choice and control
Risk management and safeguarding (including children’s safeguarding where relevant).
Work effectively with partners in other agencies
Use line management appropriately to manage risk
support for those adults requiring frequent specialist intervention to meet their needs
Requirements of the specialist social worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current HCPC registration
